Berlin International Gamers Con in Mitte 2025

August 2025!
After adventurous preparations with a near-cancellation and a short notice replacement location it was finally time for our second Summer Con in Berlin Mitte.

This time we gathered for BIG-Con@Mitte over a long Weekend from Thursday through Sunday in the conference area of the female founders cooperative „WeiberWirtschaft“.

And we didn’t just set a new record for our events with over 30 participants!
Since „WeiberWirtschaft“ supports women starting their own businesses, it was only fitting that it was also the first time that women were the majority of our players!

We were particularly happy that we did not just get to welcome many new faces, but that so many people joined us for their second and third time already!

Our game room at WeiberWirtschaft was just a few minutes walking from U-Bahnhof Bernauer Straße and even accessible barrier-free.

The location offered us a Foyer along with two giant conference rooms with excellent lighting and thanks to the carpets very relaxed acoustics.

The building also impressed with its nicely gardened industrial court yard offering small spaces of retreat and quiet to enjoy a break and some fresh air.

Artie was once again the one to bring the biggest hit. Freshly awarded the title „Kenner Spiel des Jahres“ it was no surprise that „Endeavor: Deep Sea“ hit the table nearly every day. Obviously our blue ocean themed play mat had to go with this one.

And a few classics made it to the table as well.

Power Grid still impresses with how fairly simple rules can create a great economics game.

… while cute monsters did their very best to „Keep The Heroes Out!“ …

… and space stations were build and mean aliens defeated at „Andromeda’s Edge“.
