happens
from 01st to 07th of September 2026
(Tuesday to Monday).
A few dozen board game fans from all over gather for a week of boardgames, relaxation, fun and great people.
BIG-Con offers you the place, the people and the time to spend a full week completely immersed in your favorite hobby.

The Place
This time we will be welcomed by the WannseeFORUM Foundation at the former Villa Joerger in the south west of Berlin.
Situated right at the shore of lake Pohlesee the historical mansion style villa offers us a wonderful place filled with history and tradtion for our time together.
Built as a banker’s villa in 1906 the estate was used by the Allies as an education center during the democratization efforts in Germany after World War II. Since the early 1950s it was dedicated to being used for international youth education. With a number of expansions and upgrades it is used for this effort to this day.
The Game Room
Our Game Rooms are the Balcony- and Lakeview Rooms in the upper floor of the mansion with about 80sqm and a beativul view of the lake from the balcony.
We will be able to comfortably accomodate 6-8 game tables for up to 40 players.
As usual we will be bringing Game-Toppers Game Mats in various sizes …
… and it wouldn’t be a BIG-Con without our 120×180 cm Mycroft Game Table.
On arrival day, Tuesday 01.09., the game room is available from noon on. The official opening and first game distribution will happen after Dinner at about 7pm.
On the remaining days the game room opens daily from 9:30 for the first game distribution and stays open until the end of the last game round, usually well past midnight.
On departure day, Monday, 07.09., the game room will only be available for packing up and organising departure.
The Accomodations
At WannseeFORUM you can book either the more affordable multi bed rooms shared with up to four people ….
… as well as the double bed room upgrade, …
… and even limited number of single bed rooms for an extra fee.
All rooms have their own bathroom with shower and WC.
The Meals
The kitchen team takes care of our creature comforts in half board with breakfast and dinner as well as an afternoon coffee break with cake…
… in the comfortable half-basement dining area or in case of good weather on the lakeview terrace.
The People
BIG-Con depends on the amazing people that we can excite for our game rounds. With participants from all origins we offer a multilanguage event where those relying on English as a common language are just as comfortable as German speakers.
