Time
BIG-Con offers you a full week dedicated to nothing but board games and social time with your fellow gamers.
Space
BIG-Con believes that gaming tables need room to breathe. We are setting up in a large game room with plenty of table space for even your most ambitious titles.
The number of attendees is limited to ensure comfortable and spacious gaming for everyone.
People
BIG-Con is intended to create an inclusive and welcoming space for up to 60 board gamers of all genders, identities and origins.
BIG-Con is a multi-language event. Both English and German are commonly spoken there and the team is fluent in English and German. In mixed groups we default to English as our common language.
BIG-Con invites everyone to bring their authentic self and facilitate communication, games and social times celebrating the diverse backgrounds of those attending. You can learn more about what this means for us in our Code of Conduct.
What will you get?
A full week of board games with fellow enthusiasts at great locations in Berlin and Brandenburg.
The Game Room opens right after breakfast and closes when the last games finish well after midnight.
Game tables come with GameToppers playmats. To accomodate large titles we bring a Mycroft Game Table with its 120 by 180 cm play area.
The community driven Game Library consists of what we and everyone brings from their own collection.
Each night booked always includes access to the game room as well as room and board.

BIG-Con Seminar
In April and November we are offering something completely new:
Boardgames as educational leave!
We cooperate with the Political Education Institution Helmstedt to provide a very special educational leave seminar under the motto „Experiencing Society and History Through Boardgames“.

BIG-Con in Mitte
In July we return to Weiberwirtschaft in Berlin Mitte for a long boardgame weekend.
BIG-Con at WannseeFORUM
In September our classic BIG-Con board game vacation takes you to the historical ambience of the WannseeFORUM on the shore of lake Pohlesee in the south west of Berlin. Check out the event page for some impressions from this amazing estate.
